The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical systems in buildings, ensuring they are efficient, ergonomic, code compliant and meet clients' needs.
Job Details
Design and develop mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and cooking gas reticulation layouts.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Collaborate with Architects and other Engineers to ensure project success.
Prepare reports, specifications and documentation for mechanical systems.
Liaising with external consultants on specific projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering . Certification in relevant Mechanical fields will be an added advantage
Minimum of Four (4) years related work experience in mechanical design, system analysis, or project execution.
Knowledge of of HVAC, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical system design.
Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
Familiarity with engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
