Mechanical Engineer (Level 3) at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (Level 3) to manage the design, supervision, and coordination of complex mechanical systems.
• The successful candidate will oversee junior engineers, ensure adherence to design standards, and resolve technical challenges on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting networks.
• Review and approve workshop drawings and technical submittals.
• Analyze mechanical problems and propose technical solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare material schedules and design reports.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and codes.

OHSE Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
• Promote health and environmental awareness among the project team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of proven experience in mechanical design and project execution.
• Membership in NSE/COREN is an added advantage.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent problem-solving and design analysis skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Capable of working under pressure and managing deadlines.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant mechanical design software (e.g., HAP, Revit MEP).
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems design and commissioning.
• Strong grasp of mechanical codes and project standards.
