Coordinate projects of new products, development, and improvement of existing products towards ensuring accomplishment of organizations goals
Review and recommend preparation of proposal drawings.
Recommend appropriate materials, tolerances, GD&T, for a design.
Provide support for design related issues that arise during production
Create and refine mechanical part and assembly drawings to capture design intent and document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals.
Ensure budget efficiency for each production project.
Coordinate activities of Mechanical team
Requirements
1st degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or any related field.
A master’s degree will be an added advantage
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role
Good understanding of 3D Mechanical design with inventor or solid works and solid Edge
In-depth knowledge of 3D Modelling & 2D CAD applications: Inventor, Solidworks and Fusion360
Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication will be an advantage.
Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and customer satisfaction.
