Job Details

• Must be based in illorin or willing to relocate
•  Lead and supervise a team of mechanical technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the mechanical maintenance team.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to develop schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate resources and equipment to ensure efficient execution of maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, implementing effective solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Supervise mechanical repairs and installations, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
• Manage the inventory of spare parts and materials required for mechanical maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all mechanical maintenance activities.

Qualification/Skills

• General Plant MTCE Experience with core manufacturing maintenance knowledge
