Carry out planned preventive and breakdown maintenance of all water treatment, swimming pools, sewage systems, water treatment plant equipment and pump stations.
Perform general repairs and maintenance functional mechanical workshop and proper handling of tools.
Carry out washing of reservoirs, painting and assembling of parts.
Conduct routine maintenance of water treatment plant (WTP).
Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
OND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience, or Trade Test 1, 2, 3 with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must have:
Sound technical and mechanical maintenance skills
Strong preventive maintenance capabilities
Effective technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
