Mathematics Teacher (Primary) at TAAS College

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons tailored to students’ levels and learning styles.
• Teach key areas including Number Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, Data Handling, and Problem Solving.
• Use Montessori materials and visual aids to promote hands-on learning and conceptual understanding.
• Integrate Islamic values such as honesty in calculation, patience in problem-solving, and appreciation of Allah’s precision in creation.
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and continuous assessments.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations (e.g., Common Entrance, WAEC, IGCSE).
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
• Provide regular feedback to parents and collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional quality.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school programs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Candidates should possess a B.Ed., B.Sc. in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related discipline.
• Professional teaching qualification (PGDE, TRCN, or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of child-centered and inquiry-based approaches.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• High moral integrity and alignment with Islamic values.
