Job Description

• A British School in Awka, Anambra State, is in need of an Experienced Mathematics Teacher. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students and fostering their mathematical skills and understanding.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mathematics, effective teaching skills, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students.
• Develop and implement the mathematics curriculum in accordance with educational standards.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing support and guidance.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mathematical exploration and problem-solving.
• Encourage and support students in mathematical competitions and challenges.
• Provide additional help and resources to students who may be struggling with mathematics.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance mathematics education and share best practices.
• Stay updated on developments in mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Ed Degree with at least 5 years experience.

Salary
N100,000 / Month.
