Job Summary

• A secondary Mathematics teacher develops and delivers lesson plans for subjects like Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus to students(approx ages 11–18).
• Key duties include assessing student progress, maintaining a positive learning environment, differentiating instruction for diverse needs, and communicating with parents. They foster analytical thinking and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Instruction: Design engaging lesson plans based on curricula (e.g., state, IGCSE, IB) to teach concepts from basic algebra to advanced mathematics.
• Assessment & Grading: Create and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams, providing timely feedback to improve student performance.
• Differentiated Learning: Support diverse learner needs, providing extra help to struggling students and enrichment for advanced ones.
• Classroom Management: Establish a safe, respectful, and organized learning environment that fosters student participation.
• Communication & Collaboration: Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress and participate in departmental or staff meetings.
• Technology Integration: Utilize technology in the classroom to enhance mathematical understanding.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
