Material Management Security Officer at Proten

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth access control of logistic trucks from material gates on daily basis.
• Able to work on systems like oracle and SAP for creating gate entry and exit entries.
• Responsible for verifying relevant documents like delivery orders, purchasing orders and miscellaneous materials before allowing entry/exit from the complex.
• Ensure smooth operations of logistic corridor.
• Able to proactively monitor/track GPS of company bulk truck 24/7.
• Proactively handle bulk truck traffic incidents and send the response team to manage the situation.
• Monitor and deployment of QRT team proactively on identified route to protect the company material while in transit.
• Supervise a team of operators /security personnel engaged for smooth material management.
• Able to supervise security activities at company owned weighbridge.
• Should be able to do reconciliation of daily/monthly material vehicles movement and generate report as required.
• Maintain records security incidents and contribute to incident reporting, root cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and procedures while managing material management function.
• Timely processing of contractors’ invoices and handling administrative issues.
• Able to effectively deal with GSA and communities with respect to security matters.
• Conduct training for security operatives.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
• 10-15 Years of experience in access control operations
• Very strong Observations and reporting skills
• Positive attitude and analytical.
• Strong minded personality
• Good Interpersonal and strong verbal & written communication skills
• Proficiency in working on outlook, MS office, material management software
• Very High level of professionalism and integrity
• Possession of certifications in security will be advantage.
