Supervision and Coordination of all activities related to the movement of project materials to/from construction yards (onshore) to/from SITE. Optimize the logistic means on-site to guarantee efficiency on priorities and emergencies, in coordination with all CTRs, CPY, and third parties.
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or CTRs/CPY, according to project construction and shipping schedules or CPY/CTR priorities, and compile and maintain manual or computerized records.
To provide real-time and weekly updates of material in/out flow between WORK SITE, SITE, and warehouses.
To review construction schedules and related information and check with construction supervisors to determine material requirements, identify overdue materials, and track materials.
To provide the single point of contact for all EPC CTR Onshore and Offshore.
To liaise between TECHLOG, Contractors, and services vendors on various material movements/needs.
Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to CTR yards, sites, and offshore, according to job order priorities and material availability.
To examine materials delivered to CTR yards or project sites to verify conformance to specifications.
To arrange CTR yard – Offshore transfer of materials to meet project construction schedules.
To compute the amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
To compile and maintain manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-project construction reports, and status and location of materials.
May move or transport materials from one EPC CTR to another, manually or using material handling equipment.
To prepare, in collaboration with the Project Management and the JV Affiliate, the policies and strategies that will dictate project material management procedures.
May arrange for repair, assembly, monitor, and control movement of material and parts.
To prepare the material reception plan within the overall construction strategies and schedules.
To establish, in collaboration with the Project Management and the Site Materials Control Procedures and ensure that the plan provides for adequate manpower and facilities, to perform the following:
a) Site warehousing organization and approach
b) Warehouse size
c) Warehouse layout, equipment, and racking requirements
d) Lay down area requirements
e) Material handling equipment
f) Material handling manpower
g) Safety program.
h) Traffic flow.
i) Workspace.
Small tool and equipment requirements – for the WORK SITE and SITE.
Ensures all material and equipment is properly handled, controlled, stored, and maintained by project procedures, specifications, and vendor requirements.
Supervises with the Stock Ctrl the UNISUP activities (including Good receipt (stock) and inbound delivery (Shipping))
Supervises the HSE and QAQC Pre-inspection for non-stock items.
Ensures safe and efficient working practices are implemented during the loading/discharging operations
