Mason / Tiler at Alpha Mead Facilities & Management Services (AMFacilities)

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Inspecting surfaces to be tiled
• Surface preparation work (e.g., removing old grout and cement and cleaning and leveling surfaces)
• Fabricate, alters, repair, and maintains walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathrooms, showers, sink counters, partitions, manholes, and other related structures or surfaces
• Lay blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans, and drawings
• Lifting, carrying, and placing prepared blocks.
• Reading and following technical drawings.
• Mix cement using hoes, cement mixing equipment, and /or hand tools
• Mixing cement and mortar.
• Laying tiles following tiling plan, cutting tiles where necessary
• Grouting gaps between tiles
• Carrying out finishing work, where necessary

Requirements

• NABTEB / SSCE or any relevant qualification
• Trade Test I, II, and III is a must-have
• Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
