Marketing Personnel at a Leading Microfinance Bank

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and acquire new customers to grow the bank’s customer base.
• Market the bank’s financial products (savings, loans, deposits, etc.) to individuals, SMEs, and groups.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competition.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Represent the bank at field events and community outreach programs.
• Collect and verify customer documentation and ensure KYC compliance.
• Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer behavior.
• Collaborate with the credit team to ensure quality loan applications.
• Monitor and follow up on customer loan repayments.
• Participate in product development discussions based on field insights.
• Submit regular marketing reports and performance metrics.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of OND/NCE; HND or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business, or related field is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing or sales, preferably in financial services or microfinance.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of the local market and language is a plus.
• Target-driven and result-oriented.
