    Marketing Operations Specialist

    Job Summary

    The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for generating new sales leads, increasing the revenue and maximizing profits for Sharply Africa. The job holder will be the first point of contact to new potential clients and existing clients when they are seeking information on the products and services Sharply provides.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
    • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
    • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
    • Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
    • Manage all aspects of marketing operations
    • Monitor business activities and performance
    • Develop robust KPIs and scorecards for marketing performance monitoring
    • Produce and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
    • Present accurate and timely analysis and findings to stakeholders
    • Analyze data, assess trends and determine actions to optimize business performance
    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Arrange and attend business meetings with prospective clients
    • Monitor campaigns to optimize performance based on industry best practices
    • Manage the marketing operations budget
    • Coordinate various ad campaigns, events and other related activities

    Requirements and qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales or related field
    • 2 - 4 years of progressive experience as a Marketing Operations Personnel or similar role
    • Experience with reporting and analytics
    • Proficiency in MS tools
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Keen attention to details
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Customer service and relationship management skills
