Job Summary
The Marketing Officer will drive brand visibility, product adoption, and revenue growth by executing consumer-focused campaigns, retail activations, distributor promotions, and marketing initiatives that position the brand as a healthy, affordable, and preferred alternative, while expanding market penetration across modern trade, open markets, supermarkets, pharmacies, hotels, restaurants, and cafés.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns to promote our products aligned with business growth objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitors, and business opportunities.
- Plan and implement promotional campaigns for new and existing products.
- Develop promotional materials, including flyers, and social media content.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.
Branding & Public Relations:
- Enhance brand visibility through innovative marketing initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
- Work with influencers, food bloggers, and media partners to enhance brand positioning.
- Manage sponsorships, partnerships, and event marketing efforts.
Product Marketing & Sales Support:
- Work closely with the product development team to launch new products successfully.
- Marketing products to new supermarkets to expand distribution and increase market presence.
- Coordinate deliveries with drivers and follow up on invoices to ensure accurate reconciliation and timely payments.
- Support sales teams with marketing materials and strategies.
Budget & Performance Monitoring
- Assist in managing marketing budgets and ensuring cost-effective campaign execution.
- Track ROI on marketing initiatives.
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports for management review.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
