Marketing Manager at GinjaBet

ROLE OVERVIEW 

• GinjaBet is looking for an experienced, commercially driven and hands-on Marketing Manager to manage and develop the company’s marketing activities across customer acquisition, CRM, retention, brand, digital and offline channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports betting/iGaming, fintech, e-commerce or another high-growth consumer digital business, with a strong understanding of performance marketing, customer lifecycle management, brand development and integrated marketing.
• The role will be responsible for maintaining and continuously developing GinjaBet’s existing marketing strategy, ensuring effective execution while identifying and introducing new initiatives, channels and opportunities that can support business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy & Execution 

• Manage and continuously review GinjaBet's existing marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's commercial objectives.
• Translate the overall strategy into clear, actionable marketing plans and campaigns. Identify areas for improvement and introduce new initiatives, channels and opportunities where they can add value.
• Develop recommendations based on market trends, customer behaviour, competitor activity and performance data.
• Ensure consistency across acquisition, CRM, retention, brand, social and offline marketing activities.
• Maintain a strong focus on measurable commercial outcomes.

Team Leadership & Management 

• Lead, manage and provide direction to the existing marketing team, ensuring clear responsibilities, priorities and performance expectations.
• Set team goals and KPIs aligned with GinjaBet's overall marketing and commercial objectives.
• Provide coaching, guidance and support to team members to improve performance and professional development.
• Monitor team performance and ensure timely delivery of marketing activities and campaigns.
• Foster a collaborative, creative and performance-driven culture.
• Identify team capability gaps and recommend appropriate training, resources or additional support where required.

Digital & Performance Marketing 

• Manage digital customer acquisition across paid media, search, social and other relevant channels.
• Ensure campaigns are properly planned, executed, tracked and optimised.
• Monitor key metrics including CAC, CPA, conversion rates, ROAS and marketing ROI.
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and scale successful channels.
• Test new platforms, audiences, creatives, messaging and acquisition approaches.
• Manage digital marketing budgets and work closely with Product and Technology teams to maintain effective tracking and attribution.

CRM & Customer Lifecycle Marketing 

• Manage and continuously develop GinjaBet's CRM and customer lifecycle marketing strategy.
• Optimise the customer journey from registration through activation, first deposit, engagement, retention and reactivation.
• Develop customer segmentation and targeted campaigns based on customer behaviour, activity and value.
• Manage communications across relevant CRM channels, including push notifications, SMS, email and other available channels.
• Work closely with Product and Commercial teams on promotions and customer engagement initiatives.
• Monitor and continuously optimise CRM campaigns based on commercial results.

Brand, Campaigns & Sports Marketing 

• Maintain and continuously develop the GinjaBet brand across all customer touchpoints.
• Ensure consistent application of brand identity, including logo usage, colours, typography, visual identity and tone of voice.
• Manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, CRM, social, content, promotional and offline channels.
• Develop campaigns around major sporting events, tournaments, leagues and other commercial opportunities.
• Work with creative teams and agencies to develop high-quality marketing assets.
• Ensure campaigns have clear objectives, budgets, timelines and KPIs, and apply performance learnings to future activities.

Offline Marketing, Activations & Partnerships

• Manage offline marketing activities, including outdoor advertising, activations, events, sponsorships and retail branding.
• Identify high-value locations, media opportunities, activation concepts and partnership opportunities.
• Manage relationships with media owners, agencies, suppliers, influencers, content creators, sports organisations and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure all activities support clear brand, customer acquisition or commercial objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and commercial value of offline activities, partnerships and sponsorships.

Social Media & Content 

• Manage GinjaBet's social media and content activities across relevant platforms.
• Maintain a consistent and engaging presence that supports the wider marketing strategy and brand positioning.
• Work with creative teams, content creators and agencies to develop relevant and high-quality content.
• Identify opportunities for real-time marketing around sporting events, trends and relevant moments
• Introduce new content formats and initiatives that can improve engagement and brand performance.

Marketing Analytics, Reporting & Budget Management 

• Maintain a clear marketing performance framework across all channels.
• Monitor key metrics including registrations, FTDs, CAC, conversion, retention, reactivation, LTV, deposits, revenue and marketing ROI.
• Provide regular performance reports, insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Identify opportunities and underperforming areas through data analysis and use insights to continuously improve the marketing strategy.
• Manage the overall marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
• Manage agency and supplier performance, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and value for money.

Required Experience & Skills 

• 6+ years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced consumer business. 
• Proven experience managing and developing a marketing team, with strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
•  Experience in sports betting/iGaming, fintech, e-commerce or another high-growth digital business is strongly preferred.
•  Strong experience in digital and performance marketing, customer acquisition and conversion optimisation. 
• Experience in CRM, retention, reactivation and customer lifecycle marketing. 
• Experience managing consumer brands across both digital and offline channels. 
• Experience with outdoor media, activations, sponsorships and other offline marketing initiatives. 
• Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. 
• Experience managing agencies, suppliers and marketing budgets. 
• Strong understanding of marketing analytics, reporting, attribution and campaign performance. 
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
• Strong sense of brand visibility and consistency, including colours, merchandise and other brand assets.
•  Ability to identify opportunities, introduce new ideas and translate marketing activities into measurable business results.
