    Marketing Manager

    • The Marketing function is central to the overall success of the school.
    • The Marketing Manager is the brand custodian, responsible for building brand awareness and maintaining the school’s brand reputation.
    • The role is responsible for developing and executing compelling marketing initiatives to reach, engage, and attract the target audience, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints, including marketing materials, communications, events, and digital platforms.
    • Develop strategies to build and strengthen the school’s brand identity, positioning it as the most prestigious school in Nigeria.
    • Manage agency relationships and collaborate on creative campaigns, advertising, media buying, events and PR.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute online and offline events, including open houses, workshops, conferences, and community engagement activities.
    • Lead the digital marketing communications function, including website management, social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and email marketing, to drive brand visibility and attract prospective students and parents.
    • Oversee the creative development and production of communication materials. 
    • Provide insightful reports and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies and improve audience attraction efforts.
    • Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to identify and understand the target audience’s needs, preferences, and motivations.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in a marketing role.
    • Proven experience in brand development and marketing strategy.
    • MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is an added advantage.
    • Marketing experience in the educational sector or multinational organisation is desirable.
    • Membership of a professional organisation e.g., NIMN, NIPR, CIM is desirable.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of branding, marketing principles, and integrated marketing communications.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and engage diverse audiences.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including social media, search engine marketing, content marketing, and email marketing.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously.
    • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
    • Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
