    The Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in positioning our start up and our services as an industry leader. He/she will manage a small team of marketing associates, while overseeing existing client projects to ensure high level marketing execution.

    Direct Reports: Marketing Associate, Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer, Web Designer.

    SCOPE OF WORK
    Client Marketing

    • Supporting integrated marketing and communications across a variety of channels and vehicles– internal, external, PR, digital, social, web, etc.
    • Develop and implement strategies for new/existing client communications & marketing
    • Define key performance indicators for each comms channel to determine campaign's  level of success 
    • Ensuring that marketing and communications efforts adhere to agreed timelines and managing expectations with various stakeholders
    • Oversee the graphic/web team members to ensure marketing and communications collateral is consistent with the client's brand

    Agency Marketing

    • Acting as a brand champion both internally and externally and ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines
    • Oversee the associates creation and delivery of agency newsletters on a monthly basis
    • Oversee the associates community engagement and media publications for the agency  
    • Identify new sales opportunities through multiple mediums
    • Oversee creation of content calendars for digital channels
    • Ensure that content uploaded on the company website and digital channels are accurate and in line with company policies

    Organizational

    • Manage marketing colleagues to ensure omnichannel campaign execution 
    • Communicate with colleagues and share insights on Whatsapp/Slack
    • Utilize Asana to set up projects and update task status 
    • Weekly coordination and training with your direct reports 
    • Weekly update/strategy meeting with Head of Growth 
    • For Client: Monthly Report on the impact of client campaigns & initiatives
    • For Agency: Monthly Report calling out significant shifts vs forecasting in our industry

    Team Management

    • Create internal communications protocols and initiatives that will foster team members morale 
    • Influence, communicate, motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental objectives
    • Monitor and follow-up on team member tasks and deliverables
    • Provide recommendations on training and development
    • Manage recruitment processes for the agency growing marketing team

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration (or) 4+ years relevant work experience in a marketing or communications role.
    • Preference to Abuja Resident
    • Should have had prior client-facing experience.
    • Proven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns (Portfolio Required)
    • Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve 
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
    • Must be able to think analytically, strategically and be metrics-driven
    • Capable of leading a small team as well as working independently 
    • Great multi-tasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines
    • Familiarity or experience working with CRM software is an asset 
    • Superior written and verbal communications skills
