Marketing and Sales Officer at AugustSecrets

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Officer to join us on a project-based role at MushWealth. This is not a regular sales and marketing job but an opportunity to contribute to an innovative agribusiness project focused on promoting and expanding the market for high-quality, organic mushrooms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for boosting product sales, identifying new market opportunities, and implementing marketing strategies to increase awareness and customer engagement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•  SALES: Promote and sell MushWealth’s mushroom products across designated digital and physical sales channels, including cross-selling, upselling, and customer engagement.
•  LEAD GENERATION: Identify and pursue new sales leads, nurture potential customers, and convert them into loyal buyers through strategic marketing and relationship-building.
•  REPORTING: Prepare and present periodic sales and marketing performance reports to the Project Manager, providing insights and recommendations for growth.
• MARKETING & TEAM COLLABORATION: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns, promotions, and product awareness strategies.
• CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring high satisfaction levels to encourage repeat business.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. 
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer engagement.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop and execute sales strategies independently.
• Experience working on community-based/Development projects.
• Experience working on Agriculture Projects is a plus!
