Marine Engineering Trainee at Nigerian Ports Authority

The Marine Engineering Trainee position is suitable for candidates with relevant academic and technical backgrounds in marine engineering and nautical science.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must possess a minimum of an OND in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering.
• Candidates must possess a Seafarers Medical Certificate of Fitness.
• Applicants are also required to possess the mandatory certificates applicable to the position.
• A West African Senior School Certificate Examination certificate or equivalent qualification is required.
• Knowledge of ICT will be considered an added advantage.

AGE REQUIREMENT:

• Applicants should be between 20 and 27 years of age.
• The position is classified under JSS 2 / GL 06.
• Marine engineering trainees will be entering a technical career area that is closely connected with vessel machinery, marine systems and port operations.
