    Manager, Operations & Organization

    We require the service of a manager, of operations & organization. You will be responsible for overseeing activities across functions in the Next Level Prayer Ministry (NLP) which includes creating efficient systems and processes as well as managing & improving already established procedures.

    You will also serve as the Chief of Staff for the NLP and all perform administrative duties. He or she is responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of the employees within the team and performs other functions set out by the Director of NLP.

    Job Responsibilities.

    Implementing/improving effective organizational processes and standards

    • Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and create strategic goals
    • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
    • Oversee Staff support processes and organize them to enhance employee satisfaction/retention
    • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability/sustainability.
    • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
    • Ensure that the Church runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
    • Reporting on the operational progress of the church to aid in strategic decision-making

    Team Management and Alignment

    • Eliminate duplicity of efforts by ensuring that responsibilities are assigned with an umbrella view of the organization
    • Ensure that goals and projects are communicated in a way that shows collaborating teams.
    • Ensure that team priorities are in sync and that no one is sabotaging the efforts of the other.
    • Resolve conflicts and ensure that team health and harmony are always at their best.

    Goal Achievement

    • Understand the goals of the organization and create a road map for getting there
    • Work with individual teams and units to understand their goals and map out execution strategies
    • Ensure that goal achievements do not fall below the agreed standard by driving agreed execution strategies and holding teams accountable for their goals
    • Review performance and come up with strategies to resolve issues that may be affecting performance and productivity
    • Ensure that work is powered by processes and systems and that everyone is in adherence to our system and processes.
    • Ensure that everyone works within stipulated timelines

    Monitoring and Reporting

    • Create reporting templates that fully capture all team activities and goal areas
    • Create report summary sheets to be used as the Campus Pastor’s oversight reports
    • Ensure that reports are properly reviewed and properly archived for ease of access
    • Strategic lead on High Profile Projects
    • Take a lead on new projects, create strategies, assign responsibilities, and hold staff accountable for deliverables within set timelines.
    • Ensure execution of strategies for smooth operations of the back-office support function within the campus

    Leadership.

    • Provide administrative and ministerial leadership for the campus in accordance with the vision of the church.
    • Gives direct oversight to the 5-purpose department at the campus.

    Reporting

    • Reports to be prepared timely, accurately, and submitted to the Director of NLP

    Qualification /Requirements

    • HND/BSc/MSc/MBA in Social Sciences/Management/ Arts or any other related field
    • Additional professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of work experience in a related environment 3 of which must be in a managerial position
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms.
    • Ability to create new ideas, relationships, or systems including creative contributions.
    • Must possess very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with strong attention to detail.
    • Analytical thinker, Strategic Decision maker and must be trustworthy and high on Integrity
    • Process Driven and Must be a self-starter requiring little or no supervision
    • A committed born-again Christian, with a personal and active relationship with God

    Overall Operational & Organization Effectiveness

    • Please note – Interested candidates should be willing to align with the following work structure
    • Work days - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday (Half Day)
    • Off days – Mondays & Saturdays

    Net Salary – 300,000 – 350,000, plus other benefits.
