Manager - Network Operating Centre at IpNX Nigeria Limited

• We’re looking for an experienced NOC Manager to lead our 24/7 network operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across core, access, backbone, and customer networks.
• This role is suited for a hands-on technical leader who combines deep network expertise with strong people management, operational discipline, and a passion for service quality and uptime.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Lead and manage L1/L2/L3 NOC engineers and shift teams
• Ensure proactive monitoring, fault detection, escalation, and resolution
• Drive incident, problem, and change management using ITIL practices
• Track and improve key metrics including uptime, MTTD, MTTR, and SLA compliance
• Coordinate planned maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes
• Serve as the primary escalation point for major network incidents
• Oversee network performance reporting and operational dashboards
• Champion automation and continuous improvement in NOC processes

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
• 7+ years’ experience in Network Operations / ISP / Service Provider environments
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing a 24/7 NOC team
• Strong knowledge of IP networks (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), fiber, GPON, and wireless
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, Cacti)
• CCNP and ITIL certifications (preferred); PMP/PRINCE2 is a plus
• Excellent stakeholder communication and incident leadership skills
