    Management Trainee Program (Business Development & Direct Sales)

    The Management Trainee Program (Business Development & Direct Sales) in the banking sector is designed to groom high-performing graduates into future leaders in retail and commercial banking. Trainees will undergo intensive classroom and on-the-job training focused on customer acquisition, deposit mobilization, and relationship management.

    The program provides a unique opportunity to understand the bank’s operations, sales processes, and customer service standards while building core competencies required for business growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in structured classroom and field training programs focused on banking products, sales techniques, and business development.
    • Identify and acquire new customers for the bank’s products and services, including savings, current accounts, and loan offerings.
    • Promote bank products directly to potential customers through field marketing, roadshows, and referrals.
    • Support the branch in achieving assigned deposit and loan sales targets.
    • Conduct market intelligence to identify sales opportunities, competitor activities, and customer trends.
    • Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
    • Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales activities, leads generated, and targets achieved.
    • Ensure compliance with the bank’s operational policies, ethics, and regulatory standards during all sales activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
    • Demonstrate professionalism, leadership potential, and commitment to performance excellence throughout the program.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
    • 0 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and customer engagement.
    • Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic understanding of banking operations.
    • Willingness to work in a target-driven and dynamic environment.
