    Male Executive Assistant, Procurement & Foreign Trade Operations

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Coordinate the procurement of project materials, Administrative Materials, fixed assests, stationery and consumables, at an appropriate quality and cost, at the right time, to avoid stock-outs, yet conserve the company’s working capital.

    DUTIES, FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establishment of policies and procedures for procurement of stock, consumables and fixed asset item, designed to obtain the right quality and quantity of items at the right time and at the lowest possible cost, without corruption, fraud etc.
    • Establishment of management information system for company Properties on the overall stock status and procurement progress
    • Continually assessment of stock of materials, stock en -route of  Company sites to forecast, to be able to place orders on suppliers/contractors timeously.
    • Evaluate of potential supplier and appointment of recommended suppliers
    • Issue of purchase order to approved suppliers, based on calculated requirement for replenishment of stocks or user need for new fixed asset items.
    • Evaluate, appointment and management of out sourced logistics service providers and shippers/clearers
    • Insurance claims for lost/damaged/stolen stocks in company stock holding pints or in transit.

    QUALIFICATION: 

    • BSC/HND in business administration,banking and finance,accountancy or any other relevant discipline..
    •  Must have a very good analytical and system accounting skills.
    •  Must be very proficient in office packages especially excel and procurement software.
    • Must be very conversant with "INCOTERM" and import - export documentations.
    •  Must have good driving experience with valid drivers licence.
    •  Must have an outstanding capacity to work with little supervision.

     EXPERIENCE  :     10 - 17 years post NYSC consistent work in a foreign trade department of a commercial bank or as a Head of a commercial department of a medium or large scale organisation.
