Maker - Account Opening or Maintenance at Catilas Resources Limited

Job Summary

• Catilas Resources Limited, on behalf of our client, a leading commercial bank in Nigeria, urgently requires the services of a Maker – Account Opening orMaintenance.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and processing account opening requests, account maintenance instructions and other related banking operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to the Bank's internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process account maintenance requests, customer information updates, fund transfers and other operational transactions.
• Verify customer details, transaction instructions and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Prepare transactions for review and approval in line with the Maker-Checker framework.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
• Support periodic reconciliations and resolve account-related discrepancies.
• Liaise with relevant teams to ensure timely processing and resolution of operational requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit/Second Class Lower.
• Previous experience in banking operations, particularly account opening and maintenance, is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of banking operations, account opening procedures and KYC/AML requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with banking applications.
• Good communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet stipulated turnaround times.
• Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.
• NYSC completion/exemption certificate, compulsory
• Age limit is 29 years or below.

Benefits

• Salary: N200,000 naira monthly
• Other Benefits: HMO, 13th Month and Leave allowance.
