Maintenance Officer (Hotel) at Carlson Hotel

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conducting scheduled inspections and servicing of machinery, guest rooms, and public areas to prevent breakdowns.
• Repair and Corrective Maintenance: Fixing electrical fixtures, plumbing issues (leaks, toilets), HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and structural elements like walls and furniture.
• Guest Service & Satisfaction: Responding to maintenance requests promptly and professionally, often leaving notes to inform guests of repairs made, enhancing satisfaction.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring the building meets safety, fire, and OSHA standards, including maintaining lighting, alarms, and emergency systems.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Energy Management: Monitoring utility consumption and maintaining equipment to improve energy efficiency.
