Maintenance Manager at Proten

Role Summary

• The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of production equipment and utilities in a beverage manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate must have proven technical experience with Tetra Pak and Sidel production lines, as well as strong leadership capabilities to manage technicians and ensure minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities Requirements

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team in daily corrective and preventive maintenance operations.
• Ensure optimal functionality of Tetra Pak and Sidel bottling/packaging lines.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation faults and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain equipment uptime and minimize unplanned breakdowns.
• Plan spare parts inventory, procurement, and management.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery meet safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Train team members on equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
• Provide regular technical reports and improvement recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to meet production targets.
• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in beverage manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong technical experience with Tetra Pak and Sidel production lines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of packaging machinery, utilities, and plant equipment.
• Proven ability to manage a maintenance department in a high-speed production environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Excellent understanding of maintenance planning, documentation, and compliance standards.
