Description

• As a Maintenance manager, you will lead our maintenance department, be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities.
• Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, upgrade and ensure compliance to all mechanical fixed time maintenance and planned maintenance tasks
• Respond quickly to all equipment breakdowns with maintenance team to minimize stoppage time
• Lead and follow up of all mechanical and electrical failures occurred in the assigned production line to find root cause & prevent re-occurrence
• Plan & execute mechanical as well as electrical improvements in the assigned production line and relevant services area of the plant to increase efficiencies/ improve safety standards
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in any discipline HND/Bachelor's Electrical Electronics Degree with 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in cube line FMCG
• Additional qualifications will be of added advantage
• Experience in Bouillon cube and seasoning Sacheting line
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
