The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and safe operation of equipment and facilities by planning maintenance activities, troubleshooting faults, reducing downtime, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
Diagnose equipment faults and minimise operational downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules.
Coordinate maintenance technicians and contractors.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Ensure compliance with HSE and maintenance standards.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Requirements, Skills & Qualifications
B.Sc./B.Eng. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
3–7 years of relevant maintenance engineering experience.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or similar industrial environment.
Strong equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
Good understanding of HSE standards and maintenance procedures.
