Maintenance Coordinator at FoliXx Hospitality

Job Summary

• The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee the upkeep and repair of all systems, equipment, and facilities at FoLiXx Hospitality. This role ensures all operations run smoothly, addressing maintenance issues promptly and maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance:

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance activities for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Coordination and Supervision:

• Assign and supervise tasks for maintenance personnel, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of work.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

• Source and manage external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and quality standards.

Inventory and Resource Management:

• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ordering replacements as needed.
• Track expenses and provide cost-effective solutions for maintenance operations.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facility or maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage external contractors effectively.
• Technical certification or training in engineering, facility management, or a related field is a plus.
