Logistics/Warehouse Officer at Etcon Analytical and Environmental Systems & Services Limited

• Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices•Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations•Following up on submitted invoices•Coordinating the activities and operations of the Company’s Storage facilities.
• Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.
• Coordinates and schedules the movement of goods and materials in/out of the warehouse
• Confirms availability of items to be sold by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
• Manually handles, repacks, or restacks cartons, pallets of goods and materials as needed.
• Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
• Appraising, evaluating inventory and stock, recording information such as the description, value, and location physically and electronically.•Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting.
• Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of database information and minimize the risk of inventory issues.•Overseeing and assisting with the loading and unloading of goods and materials in/out of the storage facility and during deliveries to customers.
• Allocating and organizing storage locations according to requirements•Sorting inventory according to established procedures and marking inventory with identifying information•Updating and maintaining storage database, tracking and managing inventory by completing regular cycle counts•Maintaining inventory records and databases•Identifying potential inventory shortages and communicate with relevant department
• Providing regular inventory reports to management
• Pick and preparing all orders for shipping and delivery to Customers •Ensuring proper packaging and labeling of shipments•Ensuring shipping counts match the order documents•Processing and providing necessary paperwork for shipments•Coordinating delivery sequence according to orders and balancing weight and dimensions for appropriate transportation/freighting
• Processing and coordinating customers’ returns•Receiving and verifying accuracy of incoming inventory•Resolving any discrepancies between paperwork and inventory received•Inspecting and ensuring quality of incoming inventory
• Ensuring accuracy of shipping and receiving documents•Entering all information into the Company’s software for deliveries and shipments•Maintaining all records/logs relative to shipping and receiving•Adhering to all safety standards and operating procedures•Ensuring strict adherence to all housekeeping and warehouse standards
• Responsible for the logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with Suppliers, Vendors, Freight Forwarders, Customs Agents, Sales staff, Warehouses and Shippers. •Providing content management for the company\'s e-commerce websites•Performing multifaceted general account support
