Logistics / Transport Field Officer at DRYVA Logistics

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source and recruiting new trucking partners in designated regions.
• Develop supply of trucks on new and existing DRYVA routes as per demand plans.
• Direct supervision of truck loadings to ensure accuracy in items, as well as conformance to loading patterns in order to prevent the likelihood of damage to materials or products during transit.
• Ensure trucks meet the required quality specification as well as have the necessary documentation as per SLA
• Track assigned vehicles in transit
• Conduct pre-shipment assessment on vehicles to ensure every truck meets DRYVA’s required standard.
• Check and verify all vehicle and driver documents: vehicle licenses, driver licenses, etc. Confirm all documents are genuine and valid before loading.
• Verify driver adherence to planned routes, rest breaks, and speed limits.
• Verify loading plans, waybills, e-PODs, and customs documents, if any.
• Seal trailers/containers and record seal numbers.
• Ensure proof-of-delivery is uploaded to the TMS within SLA
• Provide on-ground support for incidents (breakdowns, accidents, security checks).
• Maintain relationships with customers’ gate officers for smooth turnaround.
• Submit daily field reports to the Transport Manager.
• Coordinate the activities of 3rd Party trucks within and outside on client sites.
• Managing relationships with logistics service providers for transportation for both inbound and outbound operations
• Work jointly with Client Accounts / Order Processing Team to ensure allocation of vehicles/drivers based on the peculiarity of Client’s requests.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• Proven, practical experience sourcing and adding 3rd Party trucks to transport fleet.
• Ideally 1 to 2 years of experience 
• Extensive knowledge of Driver management.
• Understanding of and experience with different truck types.
