Job Summary

• The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the company's logistics department.
• This includes managing the distribution of goods, ensuring efficient customer service, and overseeing all shipping processes.
• The Logistics Supervisor will be a key leader in developing and implementing strategies and plans to improve department efficiency and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all shipping, receiving, and distribution operations
• Work closely with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency, customer service, and cost savings
• Manage the logistics staff and coordinate scheduling and workloads
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, and adjust ordering and storage accordingly
• Track order fulfillment, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• At least 2 years of prior experience in a supervisory role in logistics or related field
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
