Logistics Officer (Flight Management) at NewRest Group

Mission

Logistics officer (flight management) is responsible for ensuring that all the food catering items and service is handled professionally, fully, and in a timely manner for all international flights. The individual will fill all the carts with the appropriate food items, assist in loading the carts onto the trucks and planes, and provide exceptional customer service to the flight crew and attendants.

• Responsible for supervising and checking all food production requirements for international flights
• Go on the runway for every flight to meet with cabin crew and review delivered merchandise
• Check aircraft trolleys and meals to ensure all are adhering to Newrest high quality standards
•  Inspect, label, close and seal trolleys according to all airport safety requirements.
• Ensure correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed and assigned correctly according to all customer specifications & client instruction booklets
• Coordinate with dispatchers and make last-minute arrangements to solve issues.
• Assist in the assembly line when necessary to help complete flights on time, such as setting up trays, preparing and packaging food, and putting the final touches to required delivery.
• Communicate any malfunction or difficulties to management and other affected teams.
• Complete required security documents and appropriate labels.
• Comply with all safety rules and company standards.
• Wear uniforms, safety shoes, and other appropriate apparel while on duty.
• Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile

• High School Diploma required
• Current/valid Driver's License required
• Previous manufacturing experience or airport experience preferred
• Previous experience in customer service strongly preferred
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible/constantly changing schedule
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability
