We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Fleet Manager to manage end-to-end transportation, dispatch, distribution, and company-owned truck fleet operations for a manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in fleet management, driver supervision, route planning, cost control, and high-volume dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations and utilization of company-owned trucks.
Plan dispatch schedules, routes, loading, and timely delivery of finished goods.
Manage drivers, helpers, scheduling, performance, and compliance.
Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, breakdowns, and fleet downtime.
Drive logistics cost optimization through route planning and load consolidation.
Monitor key KPIs including on-time delivery, fleet utilization, cost/km, fuel consumption, and downtime.
Ensure fleet documentation, insurance, permits, and transport regulatory compliance.
Implement road safety measures and coordinate driver training.
Prepare regular logistics and fleet performance reports.
Liaise with Production, Warehouse, Sales, and external transport vendors where required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, or a related field.
5–10 years’ experience in logistics, fleet, transportation, or distribution management.
Proven experience managing company-owned/in-house truck fleets is essential.
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, plastics, packaging, or other high-volume distribution environments is preferred.
