The Logistics Associate plays a key role in managing and coordinating third-party logistics operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods.
This role involves working closely with external Logistics providers, internal teams, and customers to ensure accurate order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and service level adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily operations with third-party logistics service providers including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Monitor third-party logistics performance against service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and contract terms.
Resolve logistics issues such as shipment delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies in coordination with third party logistics partners.
Track and report on order fulfillment, shipping accuracy, and delivery timelines.
Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments and inventory levels.
Assist with logistics process improvement initiatives and cost-reduction strategies.
Support audits and compliance checks related to third-party logistics operations.
Communicate with internal stakeholders (procurement, customer service, warehouse) to ensure alignment with logistics activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations (Logistics Manager, Supervisor or third-party logistics experience preferred).
Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP platforms.
Understanding of freight, transportation, and warehouse operations.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics software/tools.
