Local Development Planning Assistant / Officer at Mangrove & Partners

Job Description
Task 1:

• Participate in cross-functional teams to initiate, plan and prepare WASH Master Plans
• Train local officers and facilitate investment planning and priority setting
• Organize/attend meetings – webinars, workshops, conferences – and write reports
• Manage projects – coordinate project teams, accounts and administrative/logistic functions.

Requirements
Must have skills:

• A B.Sc in Geography, Settlement Planning, Sanitation Engineering and related fields.
• An MSc will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Graphics design knowledge is an advantage
• Highly skilled with numbers and can crunch data
• Very strong oral and written communication skills including writing proposals and reports
• Experience of desk / literature research, and field surveys
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A fair knowledge of accounting would be an advantage
• A flexible, adaptable and professional approach to work.
