    Live-In Occupational Therapist

    Salary: ₦200,000 per month
    Experience Level: 2–4 years

    About the Role

    We are seeking a caring and experienced Live-In Home Occupational Therapist to provide personalized therapy and daily living support. The ideal candidate will combine professional expertise with patience, creativity, and the ability to create a supportive and engaging environment that encourages the child’s independence, learning, and social development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess the client’s strengths and needs to create an individualized occupational therapy plan.
    • Use structured activities, play-based learning, and sensory integration techniques to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and self-care abilities.
    • Support the client’s social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation in daily routines.
    • Introduce and implement adaptive strategies to make daily tasks easier and more enjoyable.
    • Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other caregivers to ensure consistency in therapy goals.
    • Monitor progress, update therapy plans, and provide regular feedback to the family.
    • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages growth and confidence.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
    • 2–4 years’ experience working with children, preferably with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
    • Strong knowledge of autism intervention techniques and sensory integration therapy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High levels of empathy, patience, and adaptability.
    • Willingness to live on-site in Ikoyi.
