Job Description

• Keeping an inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering supplies when needed
• Preparing meals for the household, including planning menus and shopping for food items
• Cleaning and performing minor repairs on the interior and exterior of the house such as replacing light bulbs or painting walls
• Maintaining the cleanliness of a home by vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and mopping floors
• Organizing and maintaining the household inventory of linens, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and other supplies
• Cleaning bathrooms, including scrubbing toilets, washing floors, shampooing rugs, and cleaning mirrors and cabinets
• Cleaning windows and screens, which can be labor intensive depending on the size of the home
• Cleaning sinks, tubs, toilets, and other fixtures in bathrooms and kitchens
• Laundering linens, towels, bedding, and clothing using commercial or industrial washing machines and dryers
