Ascentech Services Limited - our client, a multinational Telecommunications company with operations across several countries in the world, and head office in Lagos, is currently looking to hire a Linux Administrator on a short-term basis.

Duties/Basic Requirements:

• Strong (L3 Skills) in Solaris, Linux
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of ITIL processes
• Adhere to audit & compliance
• Knowledge on patching
• Automations
• Scripting knowledge in any language
• Knowledge on LDOM, PDOM
• Basic DB understanding
• Knowledge on virtualization
• Understanding of Dockers & containers

Education:

• BSc/HND in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Certifications in a relevant field will be a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar position.
