Job Responsibilities

• Provide inputs for preparing preventive as well as planned maintenance schedule/ plans for distribution network.
• Manage toolbox and equipment with a periodic register for usage where applicable.
• Disconnect, Monitor and Re-connect Customers Service Wire where applicable
• Carry out operation & maintenance procedures in accordance with established company policies.
• Handle all network faults and take corrective action to resolve them and ensure, where possible, that they are not repeated in sub stations.
• Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
• Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations
• Visit transformers sub-station sites to observe conditions and to identify solutions to technical problems involving electrical systems equipment that arise and keep it tidy.
• Comply with Quality Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs
• Carrying out all other functions as designated in line with achieving the departmental objectives.

Job Requirements

• Holders of NABTEB, Trade Test, SSCE or its equivalent diploma qualification
• Minimum of 3 years electrical experience
• Maximum age: 35 years.
