Line Manager Packaging at Champion Breweries

• The Line Manager for Packaging (IMP) is responsible for overseeing packaging operations and managing packaging facilities and equipment during shifts to ensure that the packaging process is conducted both costæffectively and efficiently.
• The LMP ensures that all equipment and work areas are clean and that comprehensive maintenance, including repairs and first•level maintenance, is performed.
• Additionally. the LMP is tasked with managing and motivating packaging operators and technicians.

Responsibllites

• Organize associates to achieve set targets.
• Plan material availability to match the production plan.
• Carry out effective preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns during production.
• Hand over finished products to the Logistics Department
• Oversee the execution Of Cleaning-ln-place (CIP) as scheduled.
• Confirm that product parameters for all products are within norm before approving the same for bottling.
• Ensure all packaged products conform to company-specified technical and quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and sustain good housekeeping.
• Provide feedback On materials and preferences based on practical experience.
• Obtain feedback from Customer Services on the product's performance.

Line Maintenance

• Carry out routine line maintenance.
• Ensure machines are run at nominal speed and in auto mode to ensure the safety Of life and equipment.
• Monitor line performance to ensure continuous flow.
• Take appropriate remedial action as may be required by circumstance.
• Monitors re reorderin levels to revent stock out situations

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND or BSc in either Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field Of study
• 4 years of brewing experience in a brewery or food and beverage industry in a similar role.
• FSMS/FSSC Lead auditor certification
