Level 4 / Foreman – Pipe Fitter at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

• We are hiring an experienced Pipe Fitter (Level 4) to take a supervisory role in overseeing pipe installation and mechanical works.
• The position requires strong leadership and technical knowledge to ensure all installations meet project and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise teams of pipe fitters and assign daily tasks.
• Interpret project drawings and ensure work accuracy.
• Plan material usage and coordinate with engineers.
• Inspect and test installed systems for compliance.
• Maintain quality and safety documentation.
• Train and mentor junior team members.

OHSE Responsibilities:

• Lead site safety compliance and toolbox talks.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to HSE standards.
• Report and address incidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Foster environmental awareness in all operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–8 years of pipefitting experience with supervisory exposure.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and planning capabilities.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of pipe materials, welding joints, and alignment.
• Understanding of QA/QC procedures and testing protocols.
