Level 2 Field Engineer – Enterprise Connectivity at Fieldbase Services Limited

Role Summary

• This role bridges frontline field execution and core network engineering. You will provide escalation support, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical leadership, stepping in when complexity increases and standards matter most.

You will support:

• Starlink Enterprise (L2 / L3) networking
• Medium to large IT networking projects
• Private LTE network deployments
• Integration of field infrastructure into data centres

Key Responsibilities

• Provide back-office technical support for enterprise field operations
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimise enterprise connectivity systems
• Execute remote commissioning and site deployments
• Prepare weekly network availability and performance reports
• Implement approved change requests and work orders
• Travel nationwide (~50%) to resolve escalated field issues
• Provide technical oversight to third-party engineers and contractors
• Support, guide, and mentor Level 1 Engineers
• Uphold very high standards of professionalism in execution and documentation

What We’re Looking For

• STEM degree (Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Telecoms)
• 2+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure or telecom field engineering
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent team player with emerging field leadership capability
• Comfortable working under pressure and across multiple sites
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria
