We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Legal Writer and Editor to join our team. This role is crucial in creating high-quality, compelling documentation and arguments for EB2-NIW and EB1 immigration applications. The ideal candidate is a fast writer, quick thinker, and highly analytical, with the ability to pose strong arguments backed by detailed reasoning.
Previous experience with EB2-NIW, EB1, or immigration law is not mandatory but is a plus.
Candidates will be required to complete a written assessment as part of the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
Write and edit detailed and persuasive petitions, recommendation letters, and supporting documentation for EB2-NIW and EB1 cases.
Research and synthesize complex information to develop compelling legal arguments tailored to each case.
Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure all documents meet immigration law requirements.
Revise and proofread documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in tone.
Maintain a strong understanding of client cases to create personalized and effective submissions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
Stay updated on relevant immigration policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
Strong writing and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to think critically, pose strong arguments, and articulate complex ideas clearly.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred:
Previous knowledge of EB2-NIW, EB1, or U.S. immigration law.
Background in legal writing or editing.
Experience working in immigration law or related fields.
