Legal Practitioner at Fadac Resources

OUR CLIENT is a conglomerate company in Nigeria and other parts of Africa, established over 40 years with ties in Asia and the Middle East. They are into FMCG products which includes; Tyres, Food and Beverages, and Paper. They are in need of a LEGAL PRACTIONER to handle all our company’s legal transactions, partnerships, and projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviewing tenders for new business opportunities and advising the industry on the contractual and  risks arising and suggested mitigations where available
• Drafting and negotiation of client contracts including service agreements, concession agreements, framework contracts, franchise agreements, leases and licences.
• Consulting and leading all industry legal processes such as mergers, compliance issues, transactions, partnerships, and lawsuits.
• Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Represent the industry in legal proceedings.
• Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters.
• Protect the company against legal risks and violations.
• Examine the legal issues related to new products and services.
• Negotiate deals on behalf of the company.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law. (Masters in law will be an added advantage.)
• Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FMCG  industry at least 5 years of total experience.
• Efficient and engaged work ethic and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
