Roles and Responsibilities
Legal Advisory & Support: Drafting and reviewing legal documents, drafting agreements such as facility agreements, Service Level Agreements, etc. Review of Conditions Precedent (CPs), to ensure all drawdown documentation meets lender requirements.
Credit Disbursement & Securitization: Perfection of security, coordinate legal perfection of mortgages, charges, and debentures.
Legal Risk Management: Contractual risk identification, identify and escalate risk clauses in strategic documentation.
Litigation/Conflict Management: Engagement with external solicitors, brief solicitors, provide documentation, and liaise on litigation strategy.
Requirements
Candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in a Financial Institution.
4 years of relevant legal experience.
Knowledge of commercial, corporate, and financial laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advisory skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
