    Legal Manager

    Description

    • We’re looking for an experienced Legal Manager with top-tier law firm training and strong fintech or financial services exposure.
    • This role will lead legal strategy, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across all areas of the digital bank.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage legal operations across regulatory compliance, contracts, data protection, lending, and employment.
    • Oversee engagement with external counsel and regulatory bodies (CBN, NDIC, etc.).
    • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and product terms.
    • Advise on legal risk across all departments, particularly in growth and product.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
    • 8+ years of legal experience, including at a top 4 Nigerian law firm and preferably in-house within fintech or banking.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulation.
    • Clear communicator and business-minded legal advisor.

    Salary
    Very Competitve, Commensorate with experience.
