Legal Executive at Hazon Holdings

CORE RESPONSIBILITY:

The Legal Officer is to handle the legal affairs of the organisation, address the internal and external legal concerns of the business to ensure the legality of commercial transactions and advise the organisation on its legal rights and duties.

JOB DUTIES

• Consults and handles corporate legal processes to all Hazon businesses and functions including but not limited to the Sales, Marketing, Business development, Agreements, Lawsuits, Patents, Finance, Real Estates, Mergers and Acquisitions, Technology) including regular contact with projects’ owners and business partners locally and internationally
• Handles on daily basis a broad range of legal matters including but not limited to: corporate governance, joint venture projects, establishing new policies and regulatory issues.
• Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence.
• Managing relationships with external legal counsels engaged by the Company and driving for cost effective means for delivering high quality legal services.
• Handle background checks & credential verification before employment confirmation 
• Perform other corporate services and any other duties that may be assigned to you by your Line Manager
• Proffer effective legal advice on & interpretation of business issues to internal staff and management and review of documents to provide a legal perspective
• Be the custodian of all regulatory compliance and represent the company in all regulatory meetings & dealings
•  Overseeing and track work progress of external counsel (e.g. Institution of proceedings, documents compilation, upgrade and update, drafting and editing complex commercial agreements.
•  Assist in facilitating internal and external business processes, registration for contracts as assigned by management
•  Working on any arbitration cases involving group and any of its Subsidiaries

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Law LLB, BL
• Candidates must have at least 5 YEARS relevant experience in legal compliance.
• Expert knowledge of the local and International laws including without limitation to Commercial Law, Contract Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Civil Law, Labor Law, Tax Law and Real Estate Law etc.
• Exceptional contracts’ drafting and negotiations experience, with ability to provide.
