    Legal, Compliance & HR Lead - Remote

    Reports To: CEO

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal, Compliance & HR Lead to oversee our company’s legal affairs, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage all human resources functions. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution — ideal for a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building efficient people and compliance systems from the ground up.

    Key Responsibilities

    Legal & Compliance

    • Provide legal advice and support across all departments, ensuring company operations comply with local laws and regulations.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
    • Develop and maintain internal compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
    • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely company compliance.
    • Manage legal risks, disputes, and liaise with external counsel when required.
    • Maintain corporate governance documentation and filings (licenses, board resolutions, company secretarial duties).

    Human Resources

    • Lead HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
    • Develop and implement HR policies aligned with employment laws and company culture.
    • Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee records.
    • Support leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent development.
    • Champion a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and diversity initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, HR Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
    • 2+ years of combined experience in legal, compliance, and HR functions (preferably in a growing organization or startup).
    • Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance regulations, and corporate governance.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Membership in a recognized legal or HR professional body.
    • Experience working in tech, logistics, or international business environments.
    • Proven ability to build or improve compliance and HR systems from scratch.
