Legal Associate at Maybrands Limited

Responsibilities 

• We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Legal Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Legal Associate, you will work remotely and support our in-house Lawyer in various assigned tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a background in corporate and business law, with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the in-house Lawyer in legal research and analysis related to corporate and business law matters.
• Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements under the guidance of the in-house Lawyer.
• Conduct due diligence and assist in the preparation of legal documentation for corporate transactions.
• Assist in managing and organizing legal files, documents, and databases.
• Provide support in preparing for meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of legal projects and tasks.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a legal support role, preferably in corporate or business law.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
