We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Legal Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Legal Associate, you will work remotely and support our in-house Lawyer in various assigned tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a background in corporate and business law, with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
Assist the in-house Lawyer in legal research and analysis related to corporate and business law matters.
Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements under the guidance of the in-house Lawyer.
Conduct due diligence and assist in the preparation of legal documentation for corporate transactions.
Assist in managing and organizing legal files, documents, and databases.
Provide support in preparing for meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of legal projects and tasks.
Stay updated on relevant legal developments, regulations, and industry trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a legal support role, preferably in corporate or business law.
Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
